Founded in 2005 by a former member of international
recording artists the Bay City Rollers, the members
of this band are no strangers to the music business,
touring or performing on the big stage.

âMotorlove is all about big guitars, big sound, great
songs and a professional attitudeâ says founding member
and guitarist Jason Medvec. âWe are committed to
putting on a show that people will rememberâ.

Motorloveâs sound is inspired by some of the greatest rock
acts in the history of music. Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Kings of Leon, Lenny Kravitz, Pearl Jam, Govt. Mule are all melded together to create a unique sound all their own.

âIn most bands there are only one, possibly two
songwriters. In Motorlove, every member contributes
to the songwriting process. Everyone has ideas that
help make the songs betterâ says founding member

Medvec knew it. Toby Kok knew it. Milo Shoberg knew it. And Brian Henz knew it. And in 2006, together they began writing the songs that would become Motorloveâs 2008 debut release âAnother Mileâ which was recorded in Minnesota and released on April 28th on their own Batcave Records label.

âWe all had a lot of music inside of us screaming to get out and we wanted to do something different in the studioâ says Medvec. We wanted to create a recording that took the listener to a different place for each song on the disk. We took the limitations off ourselves, kept an open mind and Another Mile is the resultâ

Most of all, Another Mile is big, both in scope and in sound. Built upon the rock solid foundation of 12 original songs and clocking in at nearly an hour, the disc has an unforgiving, in-your-face sound.

The disc features songs like the opening powerhouse track âGoldenâ, the acoustic title track âAnother Mileâ, the laid back âSummertimeâ, âBrother Sisterâ the anthem written about the Iraq war, â40 Eyed Foolâ which shows the bands funkier side and âFar From the Groundâ which is in both âpluggedâ and âunpluggedâ versions on the record.
