G-Dogg and B-Real are the entertainment names of the Muddy Boys A.K.A. Muddy Water. G-Dogg born Jarrod Williams and B-Real born Brad Gray brothers from McComb, MS. G-Dogg began to collaborate with other local inspiring dirty south artist and produced a few studio recordings In 1994 they dropped there first recorded song with producer Michael Collins of G 'N'Me Productions. In 1997 G-Dogg relocated to Dallas and Houston to explore opportunities. Still on the grind and determined to make it, G-Dogg collaborated with his brother B-Real who had just completed his first Solo single "True Soldier" the summer of 1998. G-Dogg & B-Real then signed an Independent recording deal with a Fort Worth Based label, Dirty South Records. After one year, G-Dogg and B-Real decided to leave Dirty South Records in late 1999 and formed a new Group representing Mississippi. They named the group Muddy Water. Not to be confused with any other artist, but to signify a new breed of dirty south artists. " The South's Been Dirty We Just Added Water to it" Was the theme of the new group. Muddy Water began recording there first underground album in late 2000. Traveling from Dallas to Mississippi, insisting on recording the album there, the album was finally complete in early 2001. After unsuccessful label deals, the album was put away for later release. In 2001 Muddy Water signed a 1-year deal with an Atlanta-based label ..PIK Records. After completing their first album, "PIK Records Presents The Hall of Game Compilation"- this album featured the group Muddy Water on several songs, which later became one of the top underground sellers online in 2002. The group finally parted with PIK records in 2004 and began an independent label called Muddy Music Limited, which enabling them to be creative not only from an artists perspective, but also from an Executive Producers prospective. In the spring of 2005, Muddy Water released their first underground single "Out Dat Mudd" which is now available only online, from any online music store. In 2006 began the completion of there 2nd album to be released the summer of 2007. Muddy Water joined the Vibe hoops-N-Hip hop tour the spring of 2007. In the Fall of 2007, Muddy Music ltd, joined forces with David Still of Climax Entertainment in Camden, NJ along with prominent local Businessman Charles Ashley and formed Muddy Music, LLC and launched a full scale marketing campaign for Muddy Water. In 2008, Muddy Water released it's first Single since 2006 with "This is Muddy Water" along with a high budget Video. The video received great reviews, and is currently listed on BET.com indie video's ya heard. Muddy Water Brings to you the Album Release Sumthin in Da Water, recorded in 2006 & 2007 as a street follow up album to Out dat Mudd, released in 2005.
