In Vancouver British Columbia, a talented group of super advanced apes
develop music to define their generation. The band evolved from the fusion ofa punk metal band, a folk rock trio, and the influence of a classically trained cello freak. For almost three years, this band has practically lived, breathed and eaten their music, often supplementing it with caffeine and THC.
The five members of Infinitism first met in Junior High nearly ten years ago.
After being apart for 5 years, Jai Mills and David Peters reunited musicaly after David returned from a European tour with the Bremen Youth Symphony
Orchestra. Soon after Kaj Falch-Nielsen also returned to the island after
graduating from theVictoria school of performing arts (Alberta) and they formedthe David Peters Trio. At this time, Kai Johnson was attending Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California. When he returned, his old punk rock group'Useless Smile' (consisting of the Mills Bro's and himself) merged with the folkrock group (David, Jai, Kaj) forming a five piece modern rock band.
Within eight months of their first show, the band was in the studio recording their first indie album. Two years of playing the Island scene was enough time for the band to solidify their style, and convince them to move to the larger and more active music scene in Vancouver.
The band is currently playing shows in Vancouver, preparing to record new material and planning their upcoming Invasion tour of Western Canada, which will be coming soon to a town near you. Get ready for Infinitism. "A mirror of the chaos and harmony of our time".
