"These guys love playing music, have good communication, are pretty much drama-free and will travel anywhere and do whatever it takes to get noticed." - Lousville Music News

What makes an engine go? Passion, drive, heart and a will to succeed.

Spawning from the city of Louisville, Kentucky; (intheclear) was formed in the spring of 2003. Combining the amazing vocal and lyrical depth of Andy Paul with the aggressive young musical talent from the former band members of Static/Divide (Brandon Sidebottom, Jon Suel, Clay Cook, John Stemmle), the band had an instant hit on their hands.

Their songs pack powerful vocal melody and raw guitar riffs that form into an epic, every song. With their hugely energetic live show plowing through the midwest, people began to take notice quickly. In a short amount of time the band has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with multi-platinum selling artist's Days Of The New, as well as Chevelle, Flaw, Sevendust, I'll Nino, Finger Eleven, Chronic Future, Greenwheel and many more.

They recently won WLRS's summer-long battle of the bands, and in the process received a main-stage slot at LRSFest 2004. They are the first band to be featured in the Ville Magazine's "The Ville Radar" and are regularly spun on WTFX 100.5 as well as WLRS 105.1, where they also co-hosted "WLRS Underground".

Now, after being together for two years and combining their collective songwriting talents, the band hooked up with producer Malcolm Springer (Full Devil Jacket, Greenwheel, Sinch) for two months of intense studio work. What ensued can only be described as magical, as (intheclear) emerged with a group of songs that just flat out kick ass. What comes next is completely unscripted ...
