On New York High, ITN explores the emotions of electronica, groove and jazz, all within traditional song forms. Influences ranging from Stereolab to Steely Dan have created a sound that's heard in the cafes of St. Barth, the coffee houses of Brooklyn and the after hours clubs of New York City. Vintage keys, phat grooves and state of the art sound design are the elements that give ITN its classic sound. Living in Williamsburg Brooklyn and having your walls shaken by cars with booming subwoofers was the inspiration to make the music powerful, multicultural and funky- with some serious low end.
New York High is the third collaboration between producers Rich Tozzoli and Peter Vitalone and the official follow up to "In The No". On the first CD, which became the soundtrack to the underground film "Psycheblow", the pair pushed the envelope between song and soundscape.The film also spawned the club single "Jackies Dance" - included on this disc.
Special guests vocalists on New York High include Australia's Sarah Bonsignore and Guyana-born Zelini Hubbard, as well as Seattle's Ray Frasier. Vincent Miraglia, Ray LeVier and Dan Hickey add thier touch on drums, Amy Crafton on flute, and David Ondrick handled the horn lines.
NEW YORK HIGH was mastered by Chris Athens at Sterling Sound, NY.

ITN's award-winning engineer/producer/musician Rich Tozzoli has mixed 5.1 DVD's for the likes of Carly Simon, David Bowie, Blue Oyster Cult and The Marsalis Family. He also has several online columns about music production and is Software Editor for Pro Sound News. Producer/composer Peter Vitalone is a classically trained pianist and arranger who has worked with Lyle Mays, Sandra Reeves, Richie Havens and has many national and international session credits to his name. Together, they are In The No.
