I've been singing since I could talk, and people kept asking why I'd never recorded. Mostly it's been lack of opportunity and lack of material.
'Be Still' was written in a moment beside a lake near my home. At the time I was learning about what it meant for life to be more simple...what it meant to be quiet...to listen. In the acknowledgments on the CD artwork I wrote: "To Jesus - for loving me to infinity and for teaching me that chaos never trumps being still." That's what I was thinking when I wrote this song.
The truth is that I love to sing, and I love sharing my voice with others. I hope you love these songs.
