introduced Jim Bowman this way: "I would like to
introduce to you folks my third favorite cowboy
singer. My first was Marty Robins. My second is
Michael Martin Murphy[because he use to be my
neighbor] and Jim Bowman is my third! Listen now for

From the beginning to end of trail, cowboys and
cowgirls everywhere have enjoyed the original
cowboy music of Jim Bowman. A
veteran entertainer, he has opened shows for many
great artist like Reba McEntire, The Oak Ridge Boys,
Kenny Rodgers, etc. Of all the songs he has written,
his favorite was used by Roy Rogers,[his childhood
hero] in the autobiography "King of the Cowboys" on
AMC. He also was the writer of the official SASS
theme song "Ballad of the Single Action Shooter".
