Now based in Weaverville, North Carolina, resonator guitarist Ivan Rosenberg has played with several bluegrass and Americana bands including Chris Stuart & Backcountry, Iron Lasso, and Lonesome Moon, and now plays occasional gigs with Steel String Theory and The Creek Jumpers. Known for his toneful and melodic style, he has released 3 acclaimed resonator guitar CDs: "Back to the Pasture," "The Lost Coast," and his latest, "Ashes and Coals." According to Bluegrass Unlimited magazine, "It is only a matter of time until Ivan Rosenberg becomes universally recognized as one of the more prolific masters of the resonator guitar."

A highly sought-after instructor, Ivan has taught resonator guitar at the Sore Fingers Week bluegrass workshop in the United Kingdom, the British Columbia Bluegrass Workshop in Canada, and the California Bluegrass Association music camp in California. He also conducts dobro seminars around the U.S. Ivan will return to teach at the BCBW and CBA camps in 2005 and his first instructional DVD should be released around June, 2005.

Ivan's original music has appeared in several film and television scores including Jerry Bruckheimer/Warner Brothers Films' "Kangaroo Jack" (2003), HBO's "Making Deadwood: The Show Behind the Show" (2004), VH1's "Driven: Dave Matthews" (2003), MTV's "Room Raiders" (2004), and High Plains Films' acclaimed documentary "Libby, Montana" (2004).
