Iver's much anticipated EP, "Citadel of Stars" is here and it couldn't have come soon enough.
When Iver first hit the scene almost nine months ago, no one was prepared for the response. Almost symbolic of the way Iver would soon set themselves apart from typical indie music, Blake Powell and Morgan Cornwell performed at a Liberty University event with many other local musicians and stunned the nearly 3,000 in attendance with their gorgeous harmonies and rich dual piano sound.
The truth is, you may not have ever heard a mixture of sound like Iver's. You would never think that Dashboard Confessional type male vocals and sweet and delicate female vocals could blend so beautifully. Two pianos played together create a wall of sound capable of heavy-hitting rock or patient classical like montages. Music is about emotion and Iver may just evoke every one.
Determined to share their music, Iver is ready to hit the road. Armed with a strong live show, great songs and a new CD, you are sure to hear that Iver is playing a show near you. We'll see you there!
