The recordings are a picture of the Portland scene of that moment and featured bands that were considered hot: Sprinkler, Hazel, the Spinanes, Cherry Poppin' Daddies; bands that have become legendary like Dead Moon and Hitting Birth, and a crop of lesser known but important artists.
