Ortiz and Juancito Torres Puerto Rico has a rich
history of excellent instrumentalists. The album
presents performances by Elías Lopés, Luis "Perico"
Ortiz, Humberto Ramírez, Luis Aquino, Julito Alvarado,
Charlie Sepúlveda, Angie Machado and the late Mario
Ortiz. Also, and for the first time on CD
"Juansinfron", an incredible interpretation by Juancito
Torres originally recorded in 1979. Trompeta Tropical
truly represents the sound of the Puerto Rican trumpet.
