Acoustic guitar based Rock/Pop, mature and heartfelt songs, steeped in melancholy.
10 MP3 Songs
EASY LISTENING: Soft Rock, ROCK: Acoustic
Details:
A Singer/songwriter borne and raised on the North east coast of England. Jay has been developing his craft from an early age using only an acoustic Guitar to recreate the music of his idols - Weller, Springsteen, Townsend.
These influences are clearly there in his music but not in an obvious plageristic sense, instead he shares their endless pursuit of music played on real instruments, performed with passion and tenderness and most importantly he sounds like he means it.
The album is a collection of heart felt songs about life, love, looking back and learning about oneself. This is his second album and has been two years in the making. The first album 'People, places, names and faces' is also great and well worth listening to if you can get your hands on a copy.
For now 'Since October' is set to do the business - My opinion? Do yourself a favour and buy it.
