JAZZOOO is a strong trio from San Diego featuring pianist/composer Doug Robinson, drummer Duncan Moore and bassist Ken Dow.

Early on, Robinson apprenticed bebop trombone legend Frank Rehak and has gone on to release several critically acclaimed CDs featuring guest artists such as drummer Peter Erskine, guitarist Mike Stern and bassist John Patitucci. Two Days in November is the first time he has recorded with his working trio.

Drummer Duncan Moore has played around the world with artists as diverse as Art Pepper, Mike Kennealy and Rickie Lee Jones. He is a highly creative percussionist who gets a lot of room to stretch out on Two Days in November.

Bassist Ken Dow is a versatile upright and electric player who performs and records with top San Diego artists like Peter Sprague as well as touring with Brian May (Queen) and Ray Manzarek (The Doors).

TWO DAYS IN NOVEMBER is a unique album, recorded mostly live in one room with minimal isolation between players. The resulting sound is open and intimate. If you like strong compositions then Robinson's multiple influences, ranging from Miles Davis to Frank Zappa, are sure to catch your attention. Everyone gets a chance to shine individually, but it is the interaction between the players that inspired quotes like the following:
