i have written this album with the help of duke martin and judy wise.
all songs tell true to life stories. if you haven't experienced them you know someone who has. one is about true love that lasted a life time and after.. that song is " i promise to love you " ...( the title song. ) the angel on the cover is the woman he loves. "earth shakin',
dream makin', vow breakin', heart achin' love " is a novelty song.. up tempo .. traditional country the title tells the story. "things i can't throw away" .. you still probably have some little reminder
of a lost love. (a gift you can't part with or a picture) "should i be
good" ... i know you wondered about that as you were growing up..
you can hear all about it in this song. (country rock).. "don't hold your breath". that expression holds true to most anything you are definitely not going to do. "j. d. the hood" .. i'm sure there was one of these guys in every crowd. very popular but dangerous. "i love what you do to me" ... enough said. you'll love it. "i like the sound of that". this man found the perfect lover. she gave him everything.
