Scott Schmitt (lead guitar) Bruce Cook (bass,Drums) Mark Schmitt (Guitar,Keys) and Mick Merrill (vocals) teamed together to record, Stop, Drop and Rock! a collection of Jammin' Rock and Blues that brings back the musicianship and integrity that seems to be lacking in most bands of late.
Scott Schmitt is quoted as saying; "We had been dabbling around with the idea of doing original music for quite a while, the next thing you know we had a couple of songs under our belt and figured we should record them" Jack Static takes you on a slow ride with touching ballads such as "You" and "Unconditional Love". The band pulls out their Blues shoes, and hits you with "Nashville Blues" (a song written about an actual club in Nashville Tn.). Looking for "Unplugged" Rock? They do that too! Track up "Out of The Blue" Bruce Cook writes a melody thats sure to be stuck in your head for days! Ready to pump your fist in the air and bang your head a bit? Mark Schmitt contributes a tune called "V.L.L." that explains everything great about jamming at a club. To close out the C.D. the band grabs another Rib Bustin riff, and takes you on a wild 80s Rock-n-roll ride, with "Jumangi"
