Singer-Songwriter James Harper is an accomplished finger-style guitarist whose playing reflects his interest in folk, rock, classical, and celtic music. Listening to his songs is like overhearing strangers while waiting for a train- some stories are magical, some so unlikely that they just might be real, and some make you think they've come from your own heart. Influences range from Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Tom Waits, and other singer-songwriters to bands like The Moody Blues, Steeleye Span, and The Chieftains.
