Jayway has been writing & performing songs for the last 20 years. Mostly for his own entertainment. It helps to be a little narcissistic when listening to your own voice over and over again on the car stereo.
While being known more for his kid's music (Jasongs, "Brain Jam"), this album represents his more personal efforts. Songs that evoke memories of years gone by. Some cryptic, some obvious, but all interesting.
Musically, this is an attempt to capture the essence of the Beatle's "Revolver". That album was a powerful turning point in music and is considered by many to be their best. Although the influence may leak through here, there was no attempt to sound like them. But rather to make an album where all the songs are completely different from each other but somehow seem to gel together just right.
