BLUES: Electric Blues, ROCK: Roots Rock

Details:
Dropped from a clear blue sky via tornado, Jeff Eads hails from west Texas where, with some serious blues and southern rock influences, Jeff started playing guitar in 1972. A highly seasoned performer, Jeff moved away from Texas and steady gigs to California to impress a chick, his wife.

Jeff Eads' music career has been through many incarnations from front man to back-up band. In his time he has played at the House of Blues in Boston as lead guitarist for Kay Kay and the Ray's and recorded a cd with Johnny Rawls for the same band. In 2001, Jeff was featured in Southwest Blues Magazine as front man for The Jeff Eads Band; writer, Bethness described him like this, "When the chance to cut loose presents itself, this guitar player doesn't waste words or notes!". Last year Jeff decided it was time to record some of his original music on a cd, the result was XIII.

At this point in the bio it is obligatory that we talk up the cd and tell you how exceptional it is. Well it is, but if we said so, it would be bragging. So, we recommend that you take the time to listen to the cd for yourself and we sincerely hope you enjoy our efforts.
