Description: With a continuous string of top 40 internet singles, singer/songwriter, John Ellis, has released his much awaited Having Fun CD. This CD contains the many top 40 internet hit singles previously unreleased on CD. His new found fans have described his music as "Real music with real words that have real meaning".

Reminiscent of the sixties pop-folk scene, "Having Fun" is packed full of rich acoustic guitar sounds sometimes mixed with electric guitar and orchestral arrangements. The listener will hear music that may seem similar to something they have heard before, yet quite fresh and different. This is the perfect album to sit back and relax to.

After giving up guitar playing for nearly twenty years, John picked it up again in 2000 and soon discovered new songs rolling through his head and quickly began recording them. Playing all instruments including, guitar, drums, keyboards and trumpet, he soon brought some friends into the project including multi Grammy winner Alan Paul of The Manhattan Transfer, Mark Howell and his brother Tim Ellis. He began to upload the songs as they were completed to various music web sites including mp3.com and Ampcast.com. To his surprise they all rose quickly in the charts and stayed there for months.

Featured on NPR's "Open Mic". Described as one of his favorite Indie Artists by DJ Warren Westfall on WXOU-88.3 FM.
