With his intense vocals and unique guitar style Jibran effortlessly captivates any crowd. The structure of his songs and soulful lyrics bring acoustic singer/songwriters to a new level. Fans continually proclaim that his vocals are the most captivating part of his performance as well as his on stage antics.

Bio...Jibran was born in the town of Blackfoot, Idaho in 1978. At the age of eight he and his family moved to northwestern Montana to the town of Whitefish.

He grew up singing with his three sisters Jenan, Amal, and Wardeh. Living in the countryside most of his time was spent outside in the open Montana air: hiking, biking, camping and skiing. He and his family lived on a 5-acre plot of land and usually had an assortment of farm animals running around. "We had chickens, sometimes geese, a dog, a cat or two", Jibran recalls.

Jibran graduated from Whitefish High School in 1996. While his love for music didn't flourish until college he did spend his high school career singing in choir among other things. He did find in an interest in computers, however.

This took him to study computer programming at the School of Mines in Butte, Montana. After spending 4 years in Butte he graduated in 2000 with a BS in Computer Science. "I didn't start devoting time to playing guitar until the summer before my senior year of college", he recalls. Jibran spent that summer working as a computer tech in Butte. He lived with a good friend of his, Bryan Pepper of Libby, Montana that played guitar. "I can remember that he and I would play guitar for hours almost every night. I learned a lot from Bryan", Jibran recalls.

Following his college graduation Jibran accepted a computer-programming job from a company in Kalispell, Montana. Between working and sleeping he spent the next three years playing guitar, singing and writing songs. He would frequent open-mic at the Great Northern Bar in Whitefish every Tuesday. "This is where I began to develop my vocals as well as my on stage presence", Jibran recalls. He resigned from his programming job in August of 2003 to focus all his energy on his debut album 'Finish the Story' (released April 2004). "It was something I had to do", Jibran notes. He has been booking gigs with coffee shops and bars in Whitefish, Kalispell and Missoula, Montana since 2002, making local headline news.

Jibran has recently moved to Seattle and has aspirations of starting a band.
