Jimmy leaned his craft, singing and playing sax, at an early age up in Michigan where Southerners 'went North to get work', up where the Dixie Hwy ended. There, both white and black musicians brought their music, delta blues and country and became the ones with whom Jimmy first worked and formulated his musical prospectives.

Jimmy loves to be funny and that sense of humer comes through along with a sort of 'tainted morality' reflecting real life.

Since Jimmy's parents were interracial, he had the opportunity to experience both the black and white cultures up close and personal. This is one of the foudations of his greatest talent, songwriting.

This veteran perfomer, who has performed in nearly all 50 states and a dozen foreign countries, hopes that somehow his music will inspire folks to see how our differences, blended together thoughtfully in a musical format, can show the beauty and strength of racial diversity.
