The Trio with Peter Rom, guitar, Raphael Preuschl, electric bass, and Jörg Mikula, drums, was founded in Vienna, 2002. The young musicians present an exciting musical concept that combines grooves and breathtaking improvisations all the same. Their inventive use of the possibilities of a non digital ensemble creates the Trio's distinct sound. Unique compositions by Peter Rom and Raphael Preuschl make up the main part of the new program, they tell simple and complex stories of our times in a modern musical and poetic language. The homogenous sound however, "The Art of Trio" remains the main focus of the Peter Rom Trio.
