Juliet Lloyd has been "courting comparisons to Norah Jones," according to the Boston Globe, since the release of her debut album, All Dressed Up, in April. Her piano-driven blend of pop, jazz, and soul has garnered the affections and praise of fans and music critics alike throughout New England and her native upstate NY, receiving rave reviews in publications across New England, from Maine to Connecticut (including a cover story in the October issue of Boston's Metronome Magazine, which stated "Juliet's songs offer the kind of music that should be heard in every club and venue throughout New England and beyond"). Juliet's original songs showcase a natural musicality that has been honed through years of studying both piano and trumpet. Educated at Berklee College of Music, she recently received an honorable mention in the 2004 Billboard Songwriting Contest, as well as won Berklee's 2005 Songwriting Contest, with two different songs that appear on All Dressed Up. She performs her original material accompanying herself on the piano, singing with a "voice that can knock you over with its richness and natural strength" (Fairfield County Weekly, Norwalk, CT).

Juliet has appeared at venues throughout the east coast, both as a solo act and with her band. In 2003, she performed onstage at the world-renowned Apollo Theater in Harlem, where she garnered an enthusiastic ovation from the notoriously tough Amateur Night audience - the very same Amateur Night that has been running since 1934 and has launched the careers of Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, and Michael Jackson.
