Hailing out of Brooklyn, NY comes this young, unbelievably talented group called Refuge. Making their debut on Blackberry/Marxan, these guys have put together an album full of uplifting, inspirational songs that are sure to compel them into an household name, in the very near future.

Although they may be new to the Gospel community as a group, you will see familiarity in two of the members, Joseph Wooden (One of the former lead singers for the Highway QC's) and Eric Wooden (Played with Keith Wonderboy Johnson). These two give this group an edge in experience among all of the new groups on the scene today.

The group started out simply as The Wooden Brothers and have been singing since they were very small boys. In addition to the three Wooden Brothers in the group, are four members totaling seven, the number of completion. All of the group members came from very strong family and religious backgrounds.

Their first radio single entitled "Resting Easy" is a remake of the classic by the Soul Stirrers, in which Refuge has taken and added their own down home flavor to it, making it their own. Introducing Refuge, a fresh new sound for all music lovers to enjoy.
