About Josh:
Josh Schramm has been writing and playing original music since 1996. He started his musical career in Alaska playing in several local bands as a guitar player. He eventually broke out on his own as a singer-songwriter. He moved to Santa Cruz, CA for college and co-founded of the Santa Cruz band, Radioflyer. While in Santa Cruz he also released a self produced album called "Starting Over", which quickly sold all copies made.
Josh moved to Sacramento, CA in the spring of 2000 where he immediately embedded himself in the music community, playing shows at local coffeehouses, bars and festivals. In addition to performing his own music, Josh was also a member of the Sacramento math rock group, "Nice Monster" (Grayscale Records), who were recently honored with a Best of Sacramento mention from the Sacramento News and Review.
A prolific songwriter, Josh has written over 70 songs. Josh's influences include popular acts, Indie bands, and Smaller unsigned artists. His own music incorporates all of these styles into his own flavor of alt-country/folk-rock.
