All songs written by Neal Bernard (who's also Neal D. Bluesman just in case you're interested).
The CD was recorded in Raleigh, North Carolina at Jag Studio and engineered by Byron McKay. The mastering was done in Raleigh, NC at Post Pro by Matt Horton.

"I like a CD with 99 tracks on it, even if most of them are just four seconds of silence. The final cut, a spoken message from Satan encouraging children to buy more copies of this record, is long overdue. It is also in keeping with the overall ballsiness of this band, which I enjoyed seeing and hearing at this year's Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues & Jazz Festival. They're rooted in blues, but they do what they want, which might be blues or surf or ballads or Beatles or Elvis or comedy routines and novelty songs for a while, and that's a good thing. Not many bands can pull that off, but these guys seem to be in such agreement about the point of music that they shift gears together without dissent. "Real Love" is what Tom Petty would sound like if he were twenty years younger and had that long-overdue adenoid surgery. "Manja Ganja Man" is as deep a blues as one could desire. If the Joe King Smokers sound like any other act, it is Dr. Feelgood during their Brit. heyday in the mid-'70s.
"Black and Beyond" is jazz-based. "New York City" is surf/ska fusion. "Flying" starts out modern country and then goes to Smokersville. A trend begins to emerge. A lot of these songs start in a familiar genre, then go to Smokersville. It's a different sort of place, blue-eyed funk with your tour guide, Neal D. Bluesman.
