As far as the bio goes, my life is complex, like my music. Here is an excerpt from my unpublished biography, The Book Of John:
Hines sat there for a moment and contemplated the curiosity of Lt. Taylor. He then activated the electric lock on his door by depressing a switch under the edge of his desk. He heard the lock click. He then unlocked the center drawer of his desk and took out a white file with COSMIC printed in blue letters across the front. He sat the file on his desk and read the document inside.

Dear Sir,
On February 1, 1994 I was shot down in the streets of my neighborhood. This was a conspiratorial attempt on my life by forces that wished to prevent me from sending this letter to you.
They were afraid of my spiritual development and of my spiritual power. I know that you are familiar with military and political power. Spiritual power as a concept and a force may be hard for you to understand.
I know you are aware of spiritual influence regarding these events.
. the reduced U.S. presence in Europe
. the Gulf-War syndrome
. the outbreak of neo-nazism in Germany
. the continual war between the Serbs and Croatians
. the floods in the mid-west
. the earthquakes in Los Angeles
. the death of the president elect of Mexico
. the death of Richard Nixon
Like a good minister I have tried to use my spiritual power to turn the tide of evil. I will continue my development and bring the world into the submission and authority of God.
The Houston Rockets are World Champions!

David Hines read the document for the hundredth time in so many days. He knew if he would have satisfied Taylor's curiosity he would not have believed the validity of their operation. Then Hines would also have to explain why an intelligence officer, of over twenty years in the trenches, was a believer and he could not do that.
