I am presently performing solo acoustic sets, with a band in the works. My music seems to appeal to a wide audience. It can be described as acoustic, rock, folk, contemporary Christian - a lot of things. I don't like to box myself into a category. My musical abilities are a gift and are very much influenced by the great love and mercy of my Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only reason I am what I am today. Without Him I would still be going nowhere, stuck in my self-destructive mind set. I have an intense longing to make a difference in the world through music in whatever direction He leads me. I have been in a few bands and have always been involved in music somehow. But because of circumstances - and problems with depression, low self-esteem, and lack of resources, I am getting started on my real musical journey (the real me) later in life than most. (Though my heart has been tugged in this direction since I was a child.) God has made it clear to me that we should not keep our talents hidden, we should let our lights shine for His glory. I hope I can be an inspiration to others who think it's too late to become what they always knew they should have been. Also,I want to connect with those who feel alone in their personal struggles - giving them hope and encouragement in these times filled with so much disappointment.
