Southern rock with a nice edge, it grabs you.
8 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, ROCK: 80's Rock
Details:
John started out playing guitar at the age of 12 and became some what of a virtuoso by the age 17. He spent many hours practicing his craft.
John played in a few local garage bands and played live as well. The music always seemed to be original and he found himself writing original songs and hoping to find the right band someday.
He moved to Toronto at the age of 23 and played in a few bands.
He also worked at odd jobs to make a living, while playing.
Tired of the rat race, John moved home and began writing music.
The demo cd John made, called " Drive" is an amazing feat for one musician to accomplish basically on his own.
The sheer determination and will power alone would make most musicians turn back but not John Janes.
In John's own words "I would have to be one of the most stubborn human beings on the planet. Tell me I can't and I'll say I can".
