Joe Berry was born in Waycross, GA and began his musical career at the young age of 15, playing various honky-tonks throughout the Southeast and Midwest. He played piano and sang in numerous bands in the early years while forming his distinctive style of playing the piano. During the 1970's he formed a band called Joe Berry and the Country Tradition, and followed his dream of being a Nashville Recording artist. The 80's found Joe playing in a couple of country show bands while continuing to refine his style and capabilities. He began with Jill Pierce and Appaloosa, followed by Dixie Road. In 1994 Joe recorded "Someday You'll Look Back" which rose to number 13 on the country music charts. Joe is an inductee in the World Famous Traditional Country Hall Of Fame and sings "No Bridge I Can't Burn" and "Don't Wake Me" in the Lions Gate Film "Bad Trip". Joe is currently working on a CD entitled "The Honkytonk Highway" scheduled for release soon.
