You just might have heard about Johnny J. somehow in the past?!? He was a member of the group Totally Waste Of Time for some time. Well, actually he started that three-piece-member band together with AnneLee V. and Mikael J. (or Mike J.). And by the end of the Twentieth Century they had this enormous hit, by the name ehh. by the name... eehh. I´ve forgotten..!?!

Do you remember the name of that fabulous song? Well, nevertheless, it was a big, smashing hit, they had, way back in Asia. In Thailand. South of Thailand to be specific! To be more specific; on the Pi-Pi Island. Well, to be honest and very specific; in the bar by the name of "Big Sky", located on the south shore of the nice paradise island, where Leonardo di Caprio shoot some scenes to the equal world famous film "The Beach".

Oh, and I did just remember the name of the song. Of course it was the beautiful song "Convertible People" that more than ten people really, really liked and enjoyed! And sometime even tap their feet to. I don´t know if di Caprio ever heard it, but I´m sure that IF he did, he is dreaming his mind back to that island every time he is listen to that song again

"Convertible People", written by Johnny J. and arranged by Mikael J. is one of the 12 songs appering on the album "johnNY doe", in a slight different mix then the original Pi-Pi Island-fabolous-hit-mix style. And talking about "johnNY doe", which is ranged from techno inspiration to guitar Rockn´Roll via acoustic tracks and waves!

I also do have to mention the sleeve photos on the CD. The front cover is from North Mombassa beach in Kenya and the inner photo is shoot in Negombo, Sri Lanka . The back cover is from Märsta, Sweden. And last but not least is the disc-photo, shoot by AnneLee V. in Al Qayrawan, Tunis.
