Live cd from a benefit concert for 'Food for Thought' at Libbey Bowl in Ojai, California. Ted was asked to perform a set with Jack Johnson. This album contains five tracks, one featuring Jack.

From a long line of musicians and entertainers--

Ted's grandpa and his brothers were in a singing quartet called 'The Lennon Brothers' in the 1940s. The Lennon sisters, first cousins of Ted's dad, were regular guests on the Lawrence Welk show back in the day. Ted's uncles and cousins have a band called 'Venice' that is currently popular in Holland. And then more closely is Ted's dad, who was in a band called 'The Other Half' in the 60s; they opened for Van Morrisson, The Doors, The Yardbirds and made a TV appearance with James Brown.

So Ted grew up with a lot of music around and would sing along with his dad at home. When someone is raised in a musical family it's part of their daily bread. Growing up in foster park, which is a woodsy area, gives Ted's music a bit of the folk feeling. The history of country music in Foster Park brought together performances by Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Lefty Frizelle and other greats. Surfing the Pacific Ocean ten minutes down the road, imbues Ted's music with the mellowness of that environment.
