Jon Hartmann is a veteran keyboard session player from Los Angeles who has worked with the Staple Singers, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Eartha Kitt, Oscar Brown, Jr., The Ink Spots, Steve Khan, The Platters, Ike & Tina Turner, Sal Marquez, Cathy Segal-Garcia, Jaye P. Morgan, Morey Amsterdam, Barry Zweig, and many others. He studied musical composition at UCLA with Roy Harris, and began his career in 1968, playing in a USO Jazz group that was sent to Southeast Asia.

His new album, The 10th House, is a true blending of be-bop and rock...full of guitars and funk, but holding on to the tradition of mainstream Jazz. Dave Price on sax, Larry Williams on trumpet, Jon on keyboards, Ron Hershewe on guitar, Lynn Woolever and Armando Compean on bass, Michael Rosen and Frank Briggs on drums, Eldad Tarmu on vibes, and Jack Lees on percussion.
