Joy Frost, a teacher, counselor and seminar leader, has taught pre-school youngsters through college level students for the past thirty years. In addition to teaching at Seton Hall University and supervising student teachers, Joy conducts seminars on parenting and self-esteem. Joy has been extensively involved in the research and study of the best methods of raising children.

Joy's mission in founding Joy StoriesTM (www.joystories.com) is to use her expertise to help children to change their own behaviors and attitudes and to teach parents how their behavior can greatly affect a child. Parents learn to use their own story telling techniques to raise their child's self-esteem using Joy Stories TM as models.


Joy is the author of "Trust Yourself", "Believe In Yourself", "The Successful Journey", "Samantha and Starlight", "Buddy and Buster" and "Under The Lily Pad" six original children's bedtime stories for raising self-esteem and creating a peaceful night's sleep. She discovered early in her professional life the great impact stories had in changing a child's view of himself/herself. These stories provide opportunities for children to gain new personal insights and foster the development of a positive self-image. Recognizing this, Joy began writing and field-testing stories for children. These stories proved to be effective in raising self-esteem.

Joy has great plans for the future of Joy StoriesTM. She continues to hold workshops on parenting as well as creating new stories. In the future, Joy Stories TM will offer additional titles for raising self-esteem as well as stories focusing on personal growth and skill building.
