JERRY WALKER
NATIVE OF SOUTH JERSEY, born and raised on a farm , always wanted to play the guitar. He was in the air force when he was able to get his hands on a guitar and taught himself to play. He was shy about playing at first, hiding behind other players on stage.He started a band called " Jerry Walker and the House-rockers". But he then got caught up in show business when he forced his way into Junior Walker's dressing room and auditioned for him. Junior hired him on the spot!! He played with Junior Walker for many years but always wanted his own show.
After leaving Junior , he decided to go out on his own with local musicians he had taught to play bass guitar, drums and keyboard. They played in the tri state area for many years but Jerry always felt they weren't as dedicated to the music as he was,so he deciced to streamline the group. He found he could produce the music for backup with the help of GiGi. So, they struck out on their own as a duo. This was a huge step for him and a difficult decision to make. This was a turning point in his career.
He has had the opportunity to play with such greats as Sonny Rhodes, Big Jack Johnson, Johnny Copeland and Tameaka Copeland.


Jerry Walker's music is flavored with country, rock and blues that make the combination that is his "style".

Queen GI GI
native of south jersey, met with Jerry Walker as he performed for a local blues club. She always desired to sing and perform on stage with a band. Her roots are in church, but she has cultivated a blusey vioce that rings out with soul. After GI GI joined the band,Jerry decided he and GI GI could produce a "5 piece" band sound, with just the two of them. GIGI has developed a sensational sound. she also writes many of the tunes they perform.
Hot Sauce, Lyin' Cheatin' man, "800" number just to name a few.

Their music is loved by the young and "young at heart". You will get movin' and groovin' to this music without realizing you are out there dancing away!
