J-SELF is a self made entrepreneur from Chicago's south side. J-SELF began breakdancing to music from various hip-hop icons like DJ KOOL HERC, KRS-ONE, ERIC B & RAKIM, MC LYTE' and many others. A barber by trade, J-SELF used his earnings to finance his first EP. J-SELF then began to align himself with the movers and shakers of the industry to score numerous opening act performances for some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
