JT Groove's musical back round comes from a long family history of music like his late father Thomas Thompson performing with greats like Bobby Womack, Wilson Pickett and James Brown just to name a few, even further back his great uncle Earl Garner world renowned jazz pianist and composer of the Jazz classic Misty.
