Grand Dandy Gander enters the story and he and Honker
get along so well they raised a family of little goslings
who could fly .
Wild Canadian Geese visited the pond on the ranch every
year when they flew south in the winter time and north in the summertime. The chickens couldn't leave with the wild geese because they couldn't fly, but the goslings could fly
and they left with the wild geese every year.
