John W.Hopkins JR.is a pianist with a smooth jazz style.
John has played throughout the world achieving accolades for his perfomances from Tokyo to Istanbul Germany and many other countries.
Primarily John has worked with vocalists.
Enough Said contains six original works by John plus variations of other compositions.
"Enough Said" is an easy listening albumn that relaxes and soothes the soul.
An exciting albumn that highlights John's unique and unusual style. An albumn that will surprise and delight you.
John suffered a stroke in 1999 whilst performing in Tokyo that left him paralyzed on his right side. This has not stopped John from playing or composing he is currently working on his second albumn.
John has also developed a programme for the elderly and handicapped a non-profit organisation called AGE & PLAY teaching music to handicapped and senior citizens. This programme has proven to be very successful and has encouraged and motivated people who need to be active and part of the community. At the end of each semester students give public recitals displaying what musical skills they have achieved.
John is working on taking his programme throughout the United States to show that being handicapped or elderly should not be an obstacle in achieving goals.
