L-solo born august 17, 1986 born and rasied in memphis,tennessee then moved to sacramento,ca him and his family to live a better life. After his father went to prison when he was 8 it was starting to get tough. After moving from a city that was 75 black to a city that was diverse it was hard for l-solo to adapt to this kind of environment. Slowly he found himself meeting new friends and getting into sports such as basketball, track, and football. Basketball was his hobby to get away from all the hard times. From elementary to middle school l-solo had problem fighting in school with teachers and students. After being held back from 8th grade graduation l-solo was place in a program to become a better person and become more focused on his work. After passing the program he was immediately placed back to his right grade level. Now in high school l-solo was a very popular student he was a honor student in art and played piano 3 years of high school. Music was always in l-solo as a child being raised up on old school music and new school he found himself always right raps but never rapping what he wrote because of his shyness. Basketball and music was l-solo two favorite things because he was able to express himself. Becoming the leading score at his high school in basketball l-solo had alot of colleges wanting him to play for them. With his gpa not that high he had to take the "sat" or "act" not knowing how important that was l-solo didnt really take it seriously so once he graduated his was not able to go on to a university college to play basketball. L-solo always had the name l-solo because he stay to although he was popular. Now after having a realtiy check that he was not going to a unviersity to play basketball, l-solo went to what he loved next to basketball. "music". After rapping with a group call "tha tak-ova" he started to get into his own style of music that involves metaphors and catchy hooks to song that he has done such as "dummy and retarded" or "go 2 work". In july of 2005 l-solo was arrested for 8 burglaries in sacramento. Being snitched on by one of his crime partners l-solo realized that he needed to stick to himself again. After being released out of jail after letters from the community and basketball coach l-solo was placed on ankle monitor for 6 months. While on house arrest he attended american river college where he ran track. L-solo was always flashy also after getting out of jail he had his mind set to "do it big" or " dont do it at all" by the spring and summer of 2006 l-solo was making music now having his own studio. After close friend "d. I. -diddy" went to jail l-solo became closer with a friend that he would never think he would have a strong bond with rapper "e-gunna". After e-gunna heard the music that l-solo was making he told him that he should take it seriously. A few weeks pass and l-solo was making his way through the streets with the hit song "go 2 work" and "dummy retarded". Going back home in memphis to perform he was shock to get the feed back that people was loving the music so has been doing shows all over california doing college frat parties to night clubs. L-solo is still on the grind to get to the top and stay there as he still promotes his music and perform in different cities and states. "free d. I. -diddy"
