Throughout the years Lil Rick has secured a position as one of the paramount Soca Entertainers in the Caribbean and beyond. Having won several competitions and awards throughout his years in the entertainment business, he is one of the most recognized and sought after Soca Stars in that genre. Lil Rick has released quite a few albums during his tenure in the entertainment industry, the most recent release being the hit album âSpontaneousâ in 2005.

Since the release of âSpontaneousâ, Lil Rick has released two music videos for his 2007 hits âGirls Gone Wildâ and âCanât Waitâ. However, it was clear that due to the heavy demands to book Lil Rick and his capturing of the Barbados Music Awards âMale Entertainer of the Year (2007)â, that there was a desire for more music from âthe Hypa Dawgâ. This desire led to the creation of the 2008 album âThe Craveâ.

During the production of this album, his aspiration was to not only satisfying the cravings of his fans, but also his own personal desires as well. This created an interesting mix of songs that range from the infectious groovy track âThis is a Partyâ to the very popular âBreakawayâ, a collaborative effort with his son âThe Unda Dawgâ. The Album also features the duets with Soca Queen Allison Hinds and Gorg, âWash Offâ and âWuk Up, You Hear Wha I Tell Youâ respectively. The album also features a single from Gorg, his solo effort âTipsyâ, and the very popular and sometimes controversial Stabby De Guard with his track âStabbyâ.
