Description:
Guitar, piano, drums, in amazing combinations, both to pleasant and sometimes riotous effect, doled out in 12 perfectly brain-smoothing jello shots.
12 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Psychedelic, ROCK: Folk Rock
Details:
The Banbury Road is Aaron Kammerer's latest album. Recorded in new studio space in Boston, this album features a range of styles and instrumentation, including piano and keys, in addition to the guitar-based sounds established in Aaron's earlier work. It's not quite shoegazer, not quite Gish; maybe more like Graham Parsons meets Alan Parsons.
The title refers to the main drag in Oxford, UK that he trod over daily during most of January 2004. Several of the songs on this album were heavily influenced by his time there.
"This is by far your best work yet." (Aaron's girlfriend)
"All the instruments are really you?" (A co-worker)
"I think people should hear this. I'm serious, this is good." (A skeptical friend.)
