KAR Songs is comprised of Keith Aaron Ruggiero, a singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Ruggiero is no stranger to the music scene, having exploded out of NYC in 2001 with his electropop band Soviet (Ministry Of Sound, Mogul Electro, Head Records). He spent the past two years on the road promoting his album "We Are Eyes. We Are Builders," developing a loyal following around the globe. Ruggiero moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to work on Soviet's second record "Spies In The House of Love." His cinematic style caught the attention of several LA-based motion graphics houses, and it wasn't long before Ruggiero was composing and designing sound to picture. Here marked his entry into television and film production.

With a BFA from Syracuse University for Film Art and a minor in Music, Ruggiero decided to combine his artistic crafts to form his company, KAR Songs. Since its inception, KAR Songs has been sought after to design sound and compose original music for some of the hippest television and film productions. A humble student of such artistic innovators as Danny Elfman, Mark Mothersbaugh, Brian Eno, and Vangelis, Ruggiero hopes to craft a career in a similar vein. With his solid work ethic, practical music industry experience and finely-wrought style, Ruggiero has positioned himself as one of the more promising talents in his field.

When Ruggiero isn't designing sound, you can find him DJing in and around the LA area or performing with his band, Soviet.
