Claudia has been born and raised in the land of chocolate in the city of Bern, surrounded by the pristine alps of Switzerland. After years of classical and jazz ballet training, stage performances and an interior design education she continued her artistic venture in NYC.
She has appeared in a number of independent and short films shot in Europe and the United States and appeared in numerous stage productions. Even though she has many interests, her biggest passion remained music. She has recorded an album in Switzerland in the electronica genre named "Momaday" with Daniel Wihler and Waedi Gysi, and collaborated on three more albums in the same genre with Formel and Alphatronic (both produced by Daniel Wihler) and performed at events such as the Electronic Ceremony (a compilation of the event is available). Additionally she performed on NYC stages with Barely Legal, a collaboration with Enesch of KMFDM and Trixie of Tricky Bizzniss (former Crystal Method singer) and participated also in more jazz oriented performances.
Her songs "More Than a Million" and "Sunshine in a Bottle" (produced by Vincent and Michael Nigro) are both featured in the just recently by Warner Brothers' released DVD indie success "Sidekick" and has been distributed by Dancing City with "Spirit Of Chill Out".
"Free Spirit" marks Claudiaâs first solo album and was recorded in NYC, 2008, in five languages (yes, the Swiss German dialect IS a language :) !). Her British Producer Roger Fife is currently featured on Cindy Lauperâs new record and known for his productions with Ruby Blue, Desmond Dekker, Tricky and The Orphans among others. "Free Spirit" was also the first song Claudia wrote for their collaboration: "I wanted to record a song that makes you feel free, go drive across the country with the wind in the hair, and simply do the things you always wanted to do."
