About Arden.....
Arden Kaywin is a Los Angeles based singer/songwriter whose musical stylings are often compared to Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morissette. Arden's critically praised debut album, Quarter Life Crisis, was written by Arden, produced by Rudy Haeusermann (Lisa Marie Presley, Kimberly Locke), and mixed by Grammy nominee Rob Jacobs (Shakira, Alanis Morissette, Bon Jovi). It was released digitally in August 2005, and has since been embraced by the online music community.
Naspter.com recently chose Arden to be an Artist In Residence and she just finished recording some exclusive content in a session for Napster Live. She was also the Featured Artist on Napster's pop page from October 5th through October 19th, making her the first unsigned artist to have been given such exposure on Napster.
Since it's release, Quarter Life Crisis has found a spot on many editor's choice lists. This summer, Smother.net named it an Editor's Pick alongside Coldplay and The Dave Matthews Band. Arden's songs are included on four of the most popular iTunes Podcasts (Next Big Hit, Ampified Podcast, Indie Airplay, and Suite 108) as well as numerous online radio stations, including RadioIO, iRadio, and Live365 (Rockland USA, RevitalizedRadio[HITS]). Arden was recently an in studio guest on "Neuz Pollution" 88.9FM Los Angeles, and on "The Monday Show" iRadio Suite 108.
Arden is honored to be one of this year's nominees for the 2006 Independent Music Awards. Her song
"Me with Me" was nominated for Pop Song of the Year. "Me With Me" was also recently featured on an episode of the WB network's new hit show Related.
Over the past year Arden has played shows around southern California, gracing the stage of landmark venues such as House of Blues, The Mint, Hotel Cafe, and The Viper Room. She is currently preparing for her New York City debut at The Living Room on November 18, 2005.
Arden maintains contact with her growing fan base online at MySpace.com, and through her official website, www.ardenkaywin.com, which includes a fan club, music, show dates, a photo gallery, Arden's promotional E-Team, reviews, and a journal.
