Alejandro Alonso, originally from Querétaro, Mexico began his musical career at a very early age. He is an excellent singer-songwriter, producer and arranger. His particular style of music brings together a blend of jazz, blues, rock and Latin rhythms with a touch of flamenco.
This CD, Alguien, is definitely one of Alejandro´s personal best. His poetic stories and experiences are presented through a variety of world music genre. In addition, such talents as Abraham Laboriel, Justo Almario and Alex Acuña have joined together to bring this project to fruition. It is sure to please anyone who enjoys exceptional music.
Apart from this recording Alejandro Alonso has made seven CD´s as a solo artist, five of which are in the Spanish language, one instrumental entitled Joyful Noise, and one in English entitled Scars of Love. He has participated in numerous projects with other artists and is considered a mayor influence in his genre.
