Fans call it Single Mom Rock! Kami Nixon is a classically trained flute player who picked up a guitar and jumped into rock and roll. She's a former journalist who documents through songs her life as a single mom coming of age.

Kami, a young woman raised in America's Southwest, is bursting onto the Bay Area music scene, playing with San Francisco legend Bill Spooner, of the Folk-ups and the Tubes fame. Her songs rip with Spooner's solos and drip with wacky touches that long-time fans of his will recognize.
