Augie Haas is a nationally recognized jazz trumpeter and doctoral student at the prestigious Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Augie is currently the lead trumpet player in the award winning Miami Concert Jazz Band as well as the South Florida Jazz Orchestra. Augie formed âThe South Nine Ensembleâ and released his first album in 2007 called âThe Llamaâ.

Augie has played and recorded with music legends such as Paul Anka, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops Orchestra, Doc Severinsen, Arturo Sandoval, Rhianna, Iggy Pop and Jet. He can also be seen on the popular band Umphreyâs McGee latest DVD titled âWrapped Around Chicagoâ.

In his latest project âBaby Jazzâ, Augie applies his unique, award winning trumpet style to classic children lullabies. Creating a soothing, calming environment for kids to enjoy during playtime, rest time or anytime.
