Acoustic rock musician Reed Thomas Lawrence offers that rare jewel to his fans. He writes and plays music that is original and artistic but doesnât lose a drop of pop friendliness in the process of seeking to infuse thoughtfulness and intelligence into the world of music. His vision remains uncompromised while bringing music to the masses that the masses will embrace.

Raised in Central Oregon, Reed grew up far from the city and close to the country where he found his home in music through his family's record collection. After several years of playing drums, Reed discovered an old guitar in his grandfathers attic and began teaching himself to strum. Reed found he could express his love for rhythm and melody thru this comfortable new instrument. At 25, Reed has relentlessly found his own sound by fusing reggae, pop, hip/hop and rock into a singer/ songwriters own adventurous twist on pop music.

Following up his debut CD âWhen You Get Inâ and Ep, "Slip Into The Crowd" Reed is currently working on a new record with producer and engineer Franchot Tone from the critically acclaimed band, Culver City Dub Collective. Tone, who has worked with artists as diverse as Garth Brooks, Robby Kreiger(The Doors) Ozomatli, Ben Harper, The Used, Living Colour, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Houston, Jack Johnson and Goldfinger, is currently co-writing songs with Reed, weaving his influences into a cohesive new flavor.
