Details:
A city boy in his early years, Nick Gill has always been surrounded with inspiration. Nick grew up in Chevy Chase Maryland with sisters Caroline and Charlotte Gill, and parents Kathie and Nick Gill. His parents first bought a piano for him at the age of six. At the age of nine he moved to Fairhope Alabama, a small city near Mobile. And at the age of eleven he took up the guitar along with the drums. He also joined the choir at his church. At fourteen he began recording his first album "'Cause it's True Love". Now a junior in high school, Nick has completed his second album "Through the Straight and Narrow". Nick's ability to capture his own life experiences and turn them into a song that people can relate to is portrayed in his new album. "Five Shots to Live" is a song about his friends' father who came close to death in a plane crash. "One Last Goodbye" stresses the need for a tightly knit relationship with all your friends and family. "It's a song about my dad not getting the chance to say goodbye to my grandmother before she died". "The New World" is a song that Nick wrote for his sister as she went off to college at Rice University.
